From the CEO’s desk
Our heart goes out to any person suffering from an incurable disease and the feelings are all the more poignant if the person happens to be a tiny tot with an insurmountable air of utter helplessness due to the tender age and infirmity overwhelming the individual. Our Little Hearts programme is a typical example of such emotive forces operating at various levels.
In India over 3,00,000 children are born with heart defects every year.
Many of them would succumb for lack of awareness, resources, facilities and will power to tackle the situation aggressively. The Little Hearts programme brings to the community :
- State of the art infrastructure to take care of babies with complex heart diseases.
- Sharp minds and expert hands to detect and mend tender and little hearts effectively.
- Financial help to the children from the underprivileged section of the society for the heart surgery.
Sir Dr. Huz (Huzaifa Khorakiwala)
The challenge of managing the large number of patients with congenital heart disease in a vast country like ours calls for active involvement and collaboration of all healthcare persons and agencies for which The Little Hearts programme stands absolutely and unconditionally committed. We cordially invite you to be partners in this effort by extending as much support as possible, particularly through micro-funding.
